GYTO's Tuesday Notebook Double pays 10/1.

With 2 wins from his last 4 starts CHESS PLAYER looks worth backing again here. He absolutely dotted up at Stratford last time and the fourth Ben Buie who was thrashed on the day has won since to give the form substance. He has gone up 7lb but Beau Morgan has been booked for the ride and takes 5lb of that off his back.
He won on him at this track on seasonal reappearance too so knows the horse well. The likes of Magistrato, Friary Rock and even Tommy Cullen could go forward so the more pace on the better for the selection who will be ridden quietly. Hidden Depths is also in form and looks the main threat.

After some good runs in defeat it was good to see ZING UP finally win a race at Lingfield last month. She ran on well when asked and for more did it with a bit to spare despite the winning distance being just a head. The front 3 pulled clear from the rest and the form has already been well advertised.
Make no mistake this is a lowly grade but I think she could be good enough to defy a small 3lb rise in the weights and follow up. Enchanted Night was only beaten a length at Nottingham last time and could be the anger but she does lack consistency and that looked a tough race. Canaria Prince might be a bigger danger if building on those last two runs which are solid enough form.
