The son of Territories is open to plenty more improvement, so he can go close on his nursery debut. Last-time-out winner Marefuori has to be considered off a 4lb higher mark, while Spanish Poet will find this a lot easier than the Listed contest at Salisbury.

MARCHING BAND has shown plenty of promise in maiden company the last twice for his powerful connections, including when third at Pontefract last time. The son of Ribchester could take a big step forward now entering the handicap ranks. The in-form Yorkstone will give him plenty to think about as he seeks the hat-trick, while Where's Freddy is the pick of the remainder following his second at Yarmouth.

His most recent second at Ayr hinted that a return to winning ways could be near, and this looks like an ideal opportunity. Ectocross, a winner of two of his last four starts, looks best placed to chase him home, while Unplugged rarely runs a bad race and is another to consider.

Keep an eye on Kentucky Kingdom too.
