ITV Racing Tips from Architect Tips with a Saturday each-way double at York and Newmarket.
14:25 York
The Coral Sprint Trophy Handicap has an open feel about it and, at the likely odds, it could be worth siding with Kevin Ryan’s CHUZZLEWIT (best price 25/1) who has been given a break since finishing down the field here on handicap debut in May and is open to more improvement than most.
His latest disappointment was far from a true reflection of his capabilities and his penultimate fifth in a Listed race at Newcastle reads quality form given he had subsequent Cambridgeshire fourth, Oviedo, in behind. The latter made the frame off a mark of 103, so without question this lightly-raced three-year-old is well-treated off 93.
The only previous time he competed over six furlongs came in the Group 2 Gimcrack over course-and-distance last year in which he acquitted himself well in seventh. I suspect this race has been his primary target and Graham Lee is a fascinating booking in the saddle. With most firms additionally paying six places, a good showing could be on the cards.

A substantial number of runners will assemble for the Club Godolphin Cesarewitch Handicap. Gordon Elliott’s Pied Piper has a good chance under Ryan Moore but has been well-found in the betting and, instead, the one I want to side with is Noel Meade’s bang in-form JESSE EVANS (best price 12/1) from an each-way angle.
Despite the large quantity on numbers, I don’t think this is the strongest of renewals and this even-year-old has gone from strength to strength this year, with two wins on the Flat, a second in the Galway Hurdle, as well as a solid fourth of 30 in the Irish Cesarewitch at the Curragh last month. Clearly, he is thriving at present.
The handicapper has taken no chances by putting him up a further six pounds but he is in the form of his life and Orr has a great association with these owners. Although his stamina for this trip is extra yardage is unknown, he might improve for it, so he must enter calculations with the six places available.

Extra Tips for Saturday's ITV Racing
Trainer Bryan Smart is no stranger to success with young sprinters and he appears to have an above-average Colt on his hands in the shape of BONDY (best price 12/1) who shaped with a great deal of promise when fourth over course-and-distance on debut before winning with plenty in hand at Pontefract three weeks ago.
That form is nothing out of the ordinary but he displayed a potent turn of foot to win by nearly two lengths in which he was eased down in the closing stages. He is open up in class but this expensive yearling deserves a shot at this grade after that latest impressive display and is worth playing accordingly each-way at the odds with four places available.
15:50 Newmarket
In the Earthlight Darley Stakes, the market has once again underestimated the credentials of SPIRIT DANCER (best price 13/2) who is getting better and better and was really impressive at York last time in which he completed his hat-trick by taking the Group 3 Strensall Stakes.
He has to concede weight all round and all of his best form has come at York but he has established himself to be a pattern-class horse this summer and he had plenty up his sleeve when beating El Drama last time, who is a good horse in his own right.
Richard Fahey’s charge will be having his first start at this course but I see no reason why it won’t suit as he is a strong-traveller, who is continuing his relentless progress and hasn’t finished improving as of yet. As long as the ground doesn’t deteriorate, he must go well.

City Of Troy would well outclass these but INDIAN RUN (best price 20/1) has as good an each-way chance as any of the remainder given he was impressive in landing a Group 3 last time and is worth a try at this level.
In what was a steadily-run affair, he quickened up smartly to leave his rivals trailing in his wake and although this is another step up the ladder, the race should be run to suit and he appeals most at the odds.

Jesse Evans is my main hope in this very difficult race but from a basement weight and mark, I want to double up in the race with the quirky but talented WONDERWALL (best price 25/1) who I know was beaten a fair way on his handicap debut last time when third at Chester but the ground will suit better here and he could improve for this trip as well.
He is lightly raced for his age and has clearly been targeted at this race. He technically has no weight on his back either with his rider claiming three pounds plus he was seventh in a Champion Bumper a couple of years ago at Cheltenham. With quite a few firms paying six places, I have seen worse outsiders in a race like this. I am hopeful Richard Spencer’s charge will outrun his odds.

Given his great record fresh, AL DANCER (best price 6/1) makes the most appeal at the odds with conditions up his street. Last season’s Grand Sefton winner was limited to just the two starts last season but after winning on his return at Aintree in that formerly mentioned race, he could only finish 10th of 19 back there in the Topham.
He hasn’t been seen since but this is easier on his return in which his seasonal record reads 2111101. He has so much in his favour and is a class act on his day, so he must be backed against rivals who will either need the run or need to improve. The ten-year-old should be mathematically pushing for favouritism here.

I have already nominated Spirit Dancer as a bet but given the softer ground, I want to cover with a win bet on the George Boughey-trained RAADOBARG (best price 6/1) who is unbeaten in two starts on heavy ground and has been a model of consistency for this stable this year at this sort of level and higher.
He was just behind Poker Face here earlier in the year when their on his reappearance and that form reads handsomely well. Ryan Moore is an interesting jockey booking too and, with everything seemingly aligned perfectly for the five-year-old, this could be the time he is rewarded success for his consistent efforts in defeat.

MOLLY OLLYS WISHES (best price 8/1) struggled in a pair of large-field, competitive handicaps after finishing second in a Listed race at Warwick but she goes well fresh given she has won a Listed event at Wetherby on her last two reappearances and this is a drop in class with Harry Skelton now in the saddle after Boombawn was declared a late absentee.
Interestingly, her connections have decided to bypass that race in favour of this easier race and her mark is reduced to 134. Moreover, she is effective on heavy ground, so any further rain will do her no harm. I think she has an excellent each-way chance on her return for a stable amongst the winners. Four places widely and generously available for this classy mare who is a solid each-way bet at the odds.
