Architect Tips shares Tote Placepot tips for Sunday's action at Goodwood and yesterday's Placepot results from Newmarket.
13:50 Goodwood
Leg 1 Selections: Havaila, Ace Rothstein, Yorksea
Milton Harris has his team in excellent order at present, who bagged two more winners yesterday, and could have another in the opener in the shape of HAVAILA.
This four-year-old handles soft and heavy ground well and was beaten only half-a-length the last time he ran on similar ground. He is of serious interest.
ACE ROTHSTEIN could reverse latest form with Motazzen if able to delay his challenge longer plus YORKSEA is down in grade and should be hard to keep out of the frame.
14:25 Goodwood
Leg 2 Selections: Al Shabab Storm
AL SHABAB STORM only found one too good at Newmarket last time, where he practically threw the race away having hung badly left inside the final furlong. His ability to handle soft ground is already proven as well given he went close on debut at Leicester.
Billy Webster and Kiss And Run are the only previous winners in the field but the form of each win is rather weak, so Andrew Balding’s charge is fancied to open his account with the drop in trip also looking favourable.

Leg 3 Selections: Hierarchy, Punchbowl Flyer, Crazy Luck
HIERARCHY is accustomed to habitual slow starts but that didn’t stop him from returning to the winners circle over track and trip last time where he got up within the shadows of the post. He will encounter similar conditions here and must be respected.
PUNCHBOWL FLYER ran his best race for a while when fourth behind the former here last time, doing best of those up with the pace, and should go well. CRAZY LUCK kept on well to take fourth at Bath last time and is also capable off this mark.
15:35 Goodwood
Leg 4 Selections: Hug A Tree, Deep Blue
HUG A TREE has only shown moderate form to date but she has still placed in all three outings and might find enough improvement to open her account. Either way, her form figures are far more compelling than most of these, so she should again be in the frame.
DEEP BLUE ran well when third on debut on soft ground and although she has not replicated that performance in two subsequent starts, she is a danger to all in this field with her trainer in good form.
16:10 Goodwood
Leg 5 Selections: Black Run
There was a lot to like about the debut effort of BLACK RUN in Deauville when third and he will have learnt a lot from that experience. Tom Marquand is an interesting jockey booking and, with plenty more to come, he should prove capable of landing this contest.
16:45 Goodwood
Leg 6 Selections: Grey’s Monument
GREY’S MONUMENT was only beaten a nose in a Listed race when last seen and was second in a heavy-ground Group 3 last year too. Back from a break in handicap company, he is the biggest danger to the favourite and is the one to beat on form.
