I was impressed with AMAYRETTO at Redcar and if she handles this much softer ground she should have a good opportunity to follow up. Her second at Newcastle on penultimate start continues to work out well and that win last time has already been given substance with the runner-up finishing an excellent third at Wolverhampton since and even the horse that finished second last Brooklyn Express has acquitted himself well in defeat to finish third at Yarmouth.

She is up 5lb but should have more to come on just her fifth start in a handicap and looks worth chancing. Buttercross Flyer has run well in defeat since winning at Newcastle and looks the obvious danger.

With 2 wins from his last 4 starts EASTER ICON might be worth backing to salute the judge again here. I thought he went through the race in smooth fashion to win with a bit in hand at Catterick last time and up just 4lb still looks well treated. I can see this track suiting and with George Bass claiming a handy 3lb off his back again I’m surprised he isn’t favourite.

Killaloan is interesting in opposition switched back to the Flat but he was pulled up at Sandown when last seen over timber and does have a bit to prove so you wouldn’t want to take a short price as it is guesswork. Of the rest Spiced Rum will be suited by the extra furlong and is a lively each way player.
