With Frankel filly Strutting now a non runner this looks a great chance for LAST APPLAUSE to follow up and make it 2 wins from 3 starts. She caught the eye going down just a length and a half on debut over 6f at this track last month and quickly improved to win impressively at Catterick last time.
She ran on strongly on that occasion and clearly has quite a big engine. Back at this track tackling 7f this time around I think she has a great chance to go in again. Elegant Madame overcame inexperience to win on debut at Lingfield and then struggled in a Listed race in Ireland last month. This is easier and if bouncing back she looks the biggest danger.

The promising RUN ZARAK RUN showed more than enough on debut to think she can win this. She was beaten less than 4 lengths into third at Leicester and that form has been strongly franked since with the runner-up Safety Catch winning like a nice horse at Pontefract and the fourth putting in an exciting display to win by 9 lengths at Windsor earlier in the week. She cuts back to a mile which should suit and I make her the one to beat. Frankel filly Verbier impressed making a winning start at Wolverhampton and with natural improvement should make a race of it.
