Architect Tips shares Tote Placepot tips for Thursday's action at Chelmsford and yesterday's Placepot results from Kempton.
17:00 Chelmsford
Leg 1 Selections: Whip Cracker
WHIP CRACKER shaped with an enormous amount of promise when second on debut at Newmarket, beaten under a length by Broadway Act, and unless one of the newcomers turn out to be above average, Richard Hughes’ charge should be capable of going one place better.

Leg 2 Selections: Last Date
In what is an open race, former course-and-distance winner LAST DATE could add to that here. His last win came off an eight pounds higher mark over track and trip and he ran well over an inadequate trip when a strong-finishing third here last time. He looks extremely competitive on form and can take care of these.

Leg 3 Selections: Riot
RIOT beat a now 92-rated individual here in May and is a pound lower than when he scored at Doncaster. He came very close to winning here again when third last time and has been left on the exact same mark. Drawn well in stall 3, he must have excellent claims with Hector Crouch an interesting addition to the saddle.
18:30 Chelmsford
Leg 4 Selections: Got No Dollars
GOT NO DOLLARS last succeeded at this course from a 10 pounds higher mark early last year and whilst he hasn’t been able to add to that win since, lately he has looked as though he is on the verge of returning to winning form. His latest third here was a very solid effort and he has place claims at least under Oisin Murphy.
19:00 Chelmsford
Leg 5 Selections: Cuban Breeze
CUBAN BREEZE has lots of wins and placed efforts off higher marks and looked unlucky to be beaten a short-head when second off this mark last-time-out. She hasn’t won for well over a year but the handicapper has yet again given her a great chance and she should go close.
19:30 Chelmsford
Leg 6 Selections: Socially Shady
SOCIALLY SHADY ran his best race of the year when third over two miles here last time and is now a pound lower than when he last got his head in front. He has placed several times here off higher marks and Oisin Murphy is booked to ride, so a big run could again be forthcoming.
