The lightly raced ARCLIGHT has been given plenty of time since finishing down the field at Cheltenham and now sent chasing could bounce back in a big way. She looked promising initially over hurdles and clearly still has potential now jumping a fence. She has a fair bit of scope and this looks a nice starting point. Notnowlinda shaped with encouragement when second at Warwick on debut over fences and looks the obvious danger if improving on that as theorem has been boosted with the third Gold Link winning since. Of the rest Kotmask also has potential in this sphere and could run well for a long way.

Things didn’t work out for SPREWELL over C&D last month but that was a tough ask and he is a lot better than what he managed to show there. His form from earlier in the season was progressive and he is still armed with quite a lot of potential in my eyes. Back on a testing surface looks ideal and with the money coming for him throughout the day connections are clearly confident of a bold showing. Layfayette got his head back in front on penultimate start and was only beaten a length up to a mile and a half last time. He is pretty reliable so looks the most obvious danger. Boogie Woogie is tough and is also respected.
