I’m looking forward to seeing GO TO WAR jump a hurdle. He impressed winning so easily on debut in a bumper at Uttoxeter and then pitched into graded company was far from disgraced at Aintree having been given too much to do. That form has worked out well since and now jumping hurdles should come into his own.

He is a half-brother to Flight Deck so certainly looks the part on paper and the market will likely prove informative. American Land placed on both starts in bumpers and should improve now jumping so could be the danger. Westerninthepark is another one expected to take a big step forward now going over hurdles.

Kestrel Valley will probably prove popular as she won her last two races when last seen back in March. If in the same form she will go well but I prefer SPITFIRE GIRL at a bigger price. She made a winning reappearance at Ffos Las last week only to lose the race in the stewards room. It is no surprise to see her turned out quickly getting to race off the same mark and up in trip should gain compensation for Jamie Snowden and the team.

Of the rest Lily Glitters is definitely capable and she has won fresh before as well so she shouldn’t be easily overlooked. Feuille De Lune was poor at Warwick but her stable are at least among the winners.
