GRACELANDS GIRL ran very well to take third from an eight pounds higher mark in a tougher race in her last start on the all-weather and is down in class after running with credit on the turf the last twice. She must be considered as a leading player with her trainer in very good form of late.

Leg 2 Selections: Dark Sun

DARK SUN left the impression she would come on plenty from her debut effort when fourth. She was only beaten around four lengths and should be able to raise her game now switched to the all-weather. She is also drawn well in stall 4 and Tom Marquand takes over in the saddle this time, so she should be able to make an impact.

Leg 3 Selections: Gamekeeper 

GAMEKEEPER made a promising start to his career when a solid third of 15 in a strong-looking novice event at York. He is likely to start a warm favourite based on that performance and is dropped in grade with James Doyle taking over in the saddle. It would come as a major shock to not see this son of Blue Point go close.

Leg 4 Selections: My Boy Jack, Billian

MY BOY JACK has been off his game the last couple of times but this course-and-distance winner is only two pounds above his last win here and Oisin Murphy takes the eye. The top-weight could go well in first-time cheekpieces despite conceding fitness to most of these. I will also add in BILLIAN, who is another winner over track and trip and ran a tidy race when third last time.

Leg 5 Selections: Bungle Bay, Jazzagal

BUNGLE BAY has two course-and-distance wins to his name and gained the latest of those off this very mark. He is heavily respected with Brandon Wilkie claiming seven pounds. Of the rest, JAZZAGAL appeals most, who did well to finish a keeping-on seventh last time having been badly hampered at the start and could figure.

Leg 6 Selections: Admirable Lad 

ADMIRABLE LAD has a bit to prove at present but his last success came off an eight pounds higher mark at this venue over a longer distance and he is down to a career-low handicap mark of 47 at present. He shouldn’t be far away if he can overcome his wide draw as he is well-handicapped and is capable at this level.
