The unexposed KANSAS DU BERLAIS has only had 6 starts under Rules and he was progressing in good style before disappointing on handicap debut at Sandown on final start. They just went too hard up front that day and it was a race that suited the closers. Given plenty of time and up in trip on return he should run a big race off a mark of 116. There isn’t much pace on so he might even get his own way in front which would be a big positive. Mr Freedom had won 3 from 4 before finishing a good second on reappearance at Fontwell and looks the danger. Of the rest Issam is another one with potential who should run well.
