Leg 1 Selections: Tyke, Visibility

TYKE has two wins from six starts this year and produced a career-best performance at Southwell last month. He is drawn well and is very much one to consider. VISIBILITY regularly runs this course well and although he was down the field at Beverley last time, he remains well-treated on the pick of his form and could be competitive.

Leg 2 Selections: Dashing Darcey, Keep My Secret

Roger Varian does very well with his newcomers and DASHING DARCEY has to be respected from a very nice draw in stall 4. KEEP MY SECRET shaped with promise when a solid fifth at this course on debut and is another who is drawn well in stall 3. With improvement to come, she can have a say in the outcome of the race.

Leg 3 Selections: Reversion, Outreach

REVERSION has only one career success but he has placed several times off higher marks and returned a very good third over course-and-distance off this mark last-time-out. He should be competitive, while OUTREACH has run well in all four previous visits to this course and is likely to make a serious impact from a pound lower mark than last time.

Leg 4 Selections: Stoney Lane, Aviary

STONEY LANE won over course-and-distance back in August and is only three pounds higher in this similar grade. He was second off this mark last time at Newcastle and has place claims at least whilst in good form. AVIARY has just the one win to her name but that did come over track and trip off a seven pounds higher mark and she has an excellent chance on these terms.

Leg 5 Selections: Morawig, Show Biz Kid

This is an race but MORAWIG should strip fitter from his debut seventh at Salisbury and could emerge as one of the main leading contenders. SHOW BIZ KID has shown enough in two starts to suggest he can win a race like this, so he is shortlisted.

Leg 6 Selections: Intervention, Kodi Red

INTERVENTION is a former course and distance winner and went very close when a good second at Kempton last time. He is expected to be in contention at the business end of the race. KODI RED isn’t badly treated based on the form he showed when trained in Ireland and should be competitive now that he has his sights lowered.
