There could be quite a bit of potential lining up for this and CHOCCABLOC catches the eye off the back of that bumper win at Market Rasen. He is clearly held in quite high regard and could be up to making a winning start over hurdles. He is obviously open to plenty of improvement and it will be interesting to see what the market makes of him.

Ittack Blue won a P2P before finishing second on debut over hurdles this time last year. He was poor at Exeter earlier in the season but has undergone wind surgery since and still has potential so could be the danger albeit a little to prove. Adjuvant is also interesting and is respected.

The only last time out winner in the field CHERRY HILL could prove hard to beat here. She is well bred being by Ulysses and showed a good attitude to hold on well at Kempton last month. The front pair came nearly 4 lengths clear from Pinpoint who is a decent yardstick at this level. She is up 5lb but with Oisin Murphy in the saddle again should be hard to beat.

Checkmeout should do better at some point but she could only manage midfield at Kempton last time and will need to better that now on nursery debut. Of the rest The Bitter Moose could also get competitive but will probably be vulnerable to an improver.
