The money was down for PANJARI on hurdles debut at Chepstow and despite fluffing his lines I do still think he has a fair bit of potential. He just got a bit worked up in the prelims that day and didn’t really look to give his true running I don’t think.

The yard think a fair bit of him and on his Flat ability alone he should leave that Chepstow run well behind. This is winnable and he should be going close. Perfect Nelson ran well in bumpers and definitely has a future in this sphere so could be the danger. Champetre is another interesting one but might need more time and experience.

This is a good race and I’m looking forward to seeing PEMBROKE over a fence again. He was progressive over hurdles and made a pleasing start beaten just a length on debut in this sphere at Uttoxeter at the start of the month.

The winner Chasing Fire looks an exciting recruit so while it was just a 3 horse race I do expect that to work out well in time. He will be a lot sharper now and could be one to follow. Chapel Green impressed winning on chase debut at Hexham and the third Hello Judge has won since to frank the form so he looks to be the obvious danger to the selection.
