I have no doubt SPORTING ACE should have won more than he did over hurdles but I didn’t really see anything wrong with his attitude and he is clearly a horse with a great deal of ability. I can see the switch to chasing bringing about further improvement and he looks to have found a nice starting point.

Storminhome was lightly raced over hurdles and is another one I expect to improve now going over a fence. He could be the main danger if fit and ready to go. Pearly Island impressed winning in testing ground at Fontwell on penultimate start and if taking to chasing is another one that could easily get involved.
