15:22 Catterick

This looks a competitive 0-60 handicap but preference goes to COLD HENRY (best priced at 11/4) who won this race last year under similar conditions. The Sara Ender trained four-year-old has form figures of 1133 at the track with his victory in this race last season coming on soft ground off a mark of 53. The gelding is yet to win so far this year but has placed off marks of 57, 57, 60 and 62 at Catterick twice, Southwell and Pontefract.

Cold Henry has dropped back down to a mark of 60 for this race and he should prove hard to beat back at Catterick on testing ground.

Glendown is respected following his victory on soft ground last time but a chance is taken on MUSIC SOCIETY (best priced at 7/1) who won this race last season off a 7lb higher mark. The Tim Easterby trained eight-year-old has a fantastic record at Catterick with form figures of 21313 at the track with his victory in this race last year coming off a mark of 81. The gelding is yet to win in 14 starts this season but he has placed off marks of 83 (three times), 82 and 75.

Music Society was only beaten 1½ lengths on heavy ground over this course and distance 10 days ago off a mark of 75 and he should run well off 1lb lower with up to four places available.

The well-bred Governor Of India could prove better than an opening mark of 67 but preference instead goes to LOOM LARGE (best priced at 11/2) who has been in good form at this course in recent weeks. The Iain Jardine trained four-year-old defied odds of 20/1 to win over this course and distance at the start of the month off a mark of 61 under Paul Mulrennan before finishing a head 2nd over a mile here 11 days ago off a mark of 63 under 3lb claimer William Pyle.

Loom Large runs here off the same mark of 63 in this race but crucially steps back up in trip to 1m2f. Paul Mulrennan (1/1 on the horse) is back on board which is a positive and he should run well with four places available.
