Leg 1 Selections: Timeless Charm, Crystal Flyer, Starlight Fantasy

This is a wide-open race with little form to go on but George Boughey does well with his newcomers and his TIMELESS CHARM could go well, especially if the market speaks in her favour. Of the remainder, I’ll include CRYSTAL FLYER who is related to several winners and could pose a threat, while STARLIGHT FANTASY should improve on her encouraging debut seventh here.

Leg 2 Selections: Miami Heat, Valadero

MIAMI HEAT will make his handicap debut after shaping with promise in all three previous outings in stronger company and remains capable of better. VALADERO had placed in his first four starts before disappointing last time but will find this a lot easier and is of some interest on his all-weather debut.

Leg 3 Selections: Get The Music On, Red Pixie

GET THE MUSIC ON has finished runner-up in both her starts to date and chased home an above-average prospect last time. If she acts on the surface, she wouldn’t need to improve much more on what she has shown to date to go one place better. Sir Michael Stoute’s two-year-old’s have been needing their first run this year but RED PIXIE still interests me given her pedigree.

Leg 4 Selections: Topanga

Andrew Balding’s TOPANGA should take a lot of beating in this contest. She was only beaten a head into second over course-and-distance on debut in which she pulled clear with an above-average type and is strongly fancied to put that experience to good use by making amends here. She is the banker on the card.

Leg 5 Selections: Mitrosonfire, Follow Your Heart

MITROSONFIRE is ideally drawn and is down in grade after failing to give his best running at Wolverhampton last time. He had placed in his two previous starts at a higher level on the turf and this course winner is lurking on a dangerous mark. FOLLOW YOUR HEART has winning form over course-and-distance and went close here last time. He should feature in the outcome.

Leg 6 Selections: Admiral D, Leap Aboard

ADMIRAL D has ultimately been expensive to follow but he has often run well in tougher events, including when third in the Ayr Silver Cup two starts ago and is on the same mark for this easier contest. If he can put in a good shift on his all-weather debut, he should be extremely competitive. LEAP ABOARD could have been drawn better but he is two pounds below his last winning mark and cannot be taken lightly.
