I’m looking forward to seeing COCO MADEMOISELLE jump a hurdle. She beat the useful El Elefante in an Irish point and then made an impressive start under Rules winning a bumper at Wetherby in good style. That form has been strongly franked since with the fourth, sixth and even seventh all winning since. She stayed on strongly on that occasion so this step up in trip on hurdles debut looks ideal and she should take a lot of beating hence her price. Drumlee Spud was only beaten a neck on debut over hurdles at Bangor and will be the obvious danger if improving again with the step up in trip sure to suit.

With some strong form to his name in bumpers LECKY WATSON is likely to be sent off a hot favourite to make a winning start over hurdles here. He is a horse with a big engine and apparently his work at home over obstacles has been encouraging. He needs to settle a little better but this looks a good starting point and I expect his class to come to the fore. Shannon Royale impressed winning a bumper at Clonmel and while he was turned over at cramped odds on hurdles debut he should know a lot more this time around and looks the obvious danger to the odds-on favourite here.
