Back down the weights three-time C&D winner AFTER JOHN must be of serious interest here. He ran his best race for a while beaten a little over two lengths over track and trip last month and he is starting to look well handicapped again 3lb below his last winning mark. He likes to be ridden quietly and with Rainbow Rain, Flash The Dash and even Lezardrieux potentially going forward I think this will be ran at an end to end gallop which will certainly suit. The biggest danger could be Rory who can be tricky to win with but like the selection he is coming down the weights and he has been dropped another 3lb so will likely return to form soon.
