The money came for MIDNIGHT IT IS at Listowel on penultimate start but he just made too many mistakes to land a blow. That looked a good race though won by the progressive Cave Court and he quickly built on that to win readily at Clonmel last month. They backed him late again that day and he really impressed clocking a career best to win by 3 lengths. An 8lb rise will demand more here but his form is on an upward trajectory and it would be no surprise to see him follow up given he is still lightly raced over fences. Plenty of dangers in a race like this and Ardera Ru was back in the winners enclosure doing it well at Thurles last time. She is back up 9lb but should get competitive. Hardwired has won 2 of his last 3 and back over fences at Punchestown last time so is also respected.
