BRANDY LOVE is an exciting recruit to chasing although she would prefer to be going left-handed. The point-to-point winner impressed when slamming Love Envoi by eight lengths in a 2m4f Grade 1 mares' novice hurdle at Fairyhouse and didn't reappear until this spring probably putting up her best performance first time out when trying to give weight to Queens Brook at Punchestown. Stablemate Eabha Grace won twice over hurdles earlier this year including a Grade 3 at Limerick and has a run over fences under her belt at Killarney. Harmonya Maker was just headed when falling at the penultimate flight in that aforementioned Limerick novice and the two-time hurdle winner handles soft ground. Henning and Feddans appear best of the remainder.

WEE CHARLIE won a competitive handicap hurdle at Naas this spring and was placed a number of times with plenty of cut in the ground. The Tom Gibney-trained gelding was taking on some useful types when fourth to Quilixios on his chase debut at Limerick last month and should benefit from that experience. Carrig Carol has a similar profile having also won a handicap hurdle and showed some promise when switched to fences at Thurles last time. Hand Over Fist just meets the qualifying criteria here for horses rated 109 or less over hurdles winning twice this season but appears best on a sounder surface. Silent Approach boasts the best piece of hurdle form having finished a close third to Shecouldbeanything in a Listed race at Killarney, while Nephin Beg won a 24-runner 2m4f Cork handicap hurdle last winter and may have been unsuited by longer trips since.

CLIFTON WARRIOR won a handicap hurdle on testing ground at Clonmel last season off a mark of 125 and has gone close on all three outings since sent over fences. The Henry de Bromhead-trained gelding was just denied in a rated novice at Galway last time following a six-month break and may well benefit from that run. So Scottish progressed well early last season completing a hat-trick before finishing runner-up in a valuable 2m1f handicap chase at Ascot. Krabat fell on his latest two chase starts but on the plus side is fit after a couple of recent hurdle outings while it will be interesting to see how Ex Patriot fares after a very lengthy absence. Lucid Dreams has taken well to fences this autumn and is another to consider.

CUT THE ROPE won on debut in a Naas bumper back in January and made a bright start over hurdles at Limerick last month. The Sea The Stars gelding only gave best on the run-in when runner-up to A Penny A Hundred with Milk Market about seven lengths back in fourth. Shoot Champagne is still a maiden after five starts but has shown promise both in bumpers and over hurdles. She finished second to the long odds-on Brighterdaysahead in a Thurles maiden hurdle last month and probably rates the chief threat. Joyeux Vivo was placed in a 22-runner bumper at the Punchestown Festival that has thrown up a number of subsequent winners and the French bred gelding has plenty of scope for improvement. Beckett Rock and Nathan Wells are two newcomers to note.

It is hard to know what CRACK THE SKY achieved in winning three races on the Flat in Scandinavia but the daughter of Nathaniel certainly merits plenty of respect coming from Closutton and any market support would be significant. Western Fold shaped well on debut in the valuable Goffs Sales bumper at the Punchestown Festival. He's been beaten at odds-on in a Downpatrick bumper and unseated here at the first when switched to hurdles but could still be a factor. Bobbi Gin Tree is a half-sister to four winners including the smart Brandy Love while Joyau De Thaix cost 85,000 euros at the Goffs Land Rover Sale last year and is another newcomer to note in the betting.

ILE ATLANTIQUE gets the vote in what appears a strong maiden. The selection was placed over hurdles at Auteuil before making a successful start for current connections when beating Feronily in a bumper at the Leopardstown Christmas meeting with No Time To Wait in third. He went close on both subsequent bumper outings and remains a bright prospect. No Time To Wait subsequently scored in decisive fashion at Down Royal before competing at Grade 1 level. Raglan Road was odds-on when second to Abbeydale in an 18-runner maiden hurdle over C&D last spring, while Diamboy Des Carres won a Clonmel bumper on heavy ground and was off for nearly a year before placed on his hurdle debut at Limerick last month. Teuchters Glory gave his veteran trainer a memorable day in the saddle last season and also has solid form over hurdles.

PERZZINI appreciated testing ground when showing much improved form to land a maiden over C&D last time. The Lorna Fowler-trained gelding is obviously held in some regard as he was well-backed on that occasion and an initial mark of 107 seems fair. The application of a tongue-tie has helped Park Of Kings to score at Roscommon and Punchestown while Gwan Tadhg is another in great form making it three wins in his last four starts when successful at Downpatrick last time. Evesham Road landed a gamble on his hurdle debut at Clonmel back in March and it will be very interesting to see if the market again speaks in his favour while Ring O Roses, Me Wee Bonnie Lass and Star Official are others to note.

INTERSKY SUNSET gained her second point-to-point win when scoring in good style at Castletown-Geoghegan last month. The selection, who has only run once over hurdles in the past two years, joined Declan Queally this summer and appears on a reasonable mark. Point-to-point winner Milfordfourthree has been generally consistent this season including when fourth in a Limerick maiden last time, while Aegirine has indicated ability on a number of occasions notably over a similar trip on testing ground at Limerick last month. Kopon won this corresponding race 12 months ago but hasn't been seen since while What An Ocean and Greenhill Damsel are others to consider.
