He’s A Latchico is chasing a hat-trick over hurdles and must be respected but I’m looking forward to seeing KLITSCHKO for Alan King. This son of Blue Bresil has been a work in progress but looked good opening his account over hurdles at Plumpton when last seen.

He goes handicapping now and remains open to plenty of improvement so should have a good chance of following up. Celtic Art should go a good gallop and I just expect the selection to be ridden quietly before looking to pick them off in the closing stages. Of the rest Zambezi Fix could run well if he strips fitter from that reappearance run at Chepstow last month where he finished third.

I loved the way INCA DE LAFAYETTE won at Wincanton last month. That was his first start for some 175 days and a wind op clearly did the trick. He was well backed and cruised through the race before finding himself in the clear.

He has been hit with a 10lb rise but that is completely understandable and with more to come he should be able to follow up. Liverpool Knight also upped his game to win at Market Rasen last time beating a good yardstick in Castel Gandolfo. He is up another 4lb but could be the main danger if repeating that sort of form. Of the rest Moveit Like Minnie is also noted after winning at Ludlow but a 7lb rise seems harsh enough.
