GYTO's Wednesday Notebook Double Pays 14/1

The hat-trick seeking EL BELLO looks worth keeping on side despite a further 5lb rise. He has only done just enough the last twice suggesting he might have a bit more in hand that his mark says. He was game to nose ahead at the line last time in a blanket finish. He clocked a decent speed figure though and a repeat of that would see him salute the judge again so the rise doesn’t worry me too much.
Hero Of The Hour was beaten less than 3 lengths over 6f last time and might benefit from going back up to 7f but seems to have a bit to find. Mullacash Buzz was only beaten 2 lengths over C&D last time and is another one that must enter calculations.

George Boughey and these connections were in the winners enclosure earlier in the week with All The King’s Men and WILD SIDE could give them more joy here. This filly was progressive earlier in the year completing a hat-trick of wins at Redcar back in the summer.
She failed to fire at Newmarket but put away returned with a much improved performance to finish second over C&D at the start of the month. I rate the winner Vultar too and with that under her belt she should go one better. She won second time up back in May so that bodes well and she should still be well handicapped off this mark. Orzo is unexposed and looks the biggest danger if improving again.
