The Pipe team were seen to good effect at Cheltenham yesterday with American Sniper winning a competitive handicap in good style. They have PLACENET in this and he could also be well handicapped with Jack Tudor in the saddle. He is a hard horse to assess coming over from France but there is good reason to think 124 could prove lenient. He stretches out to 3 miles for the first time and if seeing out the trip must be in with a huge chance. There is a fair bit of rain due but he is proven in soft ground in France so that won’t bother him and I’m confident of a big run. Plenty of dangers likely headed by Buddy One who impressed at Galway and if handling a 9lb rise should run well up in trip. Shan Blue would also have a squeak granted a clear round.
