Given CALM WATERS was sent off a 7/4 favourite on debut if she leaves that initial effort behind she could be good value to take this. She was beaten just over five lengths but clocked a decent speed figure in defeat and with that under her belt now I think she is a major player here. She was slowly into stride and had a lot to do but the penny seemed to drop late and she did some good late work.

The step up in trip here will help unlock improvement and I’m confident of a big run. Plenty of dangers obviously and likely headed by the well bred Dubai Melody who ran well when second on debut at Newmarket. She was a little one paced though and will probably be overbet. Strutting is another one to be fearful of on her third start.
