Georgi Girl finished 3rd on her reappearance at Hereford off an opening mark of 108 when eventually beaten 5 ¾ lengths. She looked the most likely winner entering the straight but fitness appeared to give out and she looks the one to beat in a similar contest off the same mark.

This looks a fantastic opportunity for Hayley Turner to bring up her 1,000th career success aboard TRADESMAN (best priced at 6/4). The David Simcock trained four-year-old won over 1m6f here in August off a mark of 46 before following up over 2 miles here off a mark of 54 in October. He made it 3 wins from 4 starts with another victory at Chelmsford over 1m6f last time by 3 ½ lengths off a mark of 58.

The handicapper has raised Tradesman 7lbs for that victory which is fair and he should be able to complete his fourth course success in a row.

This looks a competitive 0-65 handicap but preference goes to the in-form course specialist KENTUCKY KINGDOM (best priced at 3/1). The James Evans trained seven-year-old has form figures of 21451133223 over this course and distance with his latest victory coming off a mark of 67 in August 2021.

Kentucky Kingdom won in August at Lingfield over 1m2f off a mark of 55 under Joe Leavy before winning over the same course and distance a fortnight ago off a mark of 61. The handicapper has raised him 4lbs for that 1 ¼ length success which is fair and he is expected to run well back at Chelmsford with Joe Leavy claiming 7lbs.
