Architect Tips shares Tote Placepot tips for Thursday's action at Wolverhampton and yesterday's Placepot results from Wolverhampton.

Leg 1 Selections: Alfred, Go Your Own Way
ALFRED made the perfect start for this stable when scoring in good style at Newcastle four days ago. He is required to shoulder a penalty turned out quickly this time, but he has standout claims in what is another winnable race. GO YOUR OWN WAY has finished runner-up in three of his last four starts and is only 1Ib higher for his half-a-length defeat at Chelmsford 12 days ago.

Leg 2 Selections: Loaded Gun, South Kensington , Elegant Appeal
LOADED GUN hasn’t been in the same form since opening his account at Chester, but he could improve for the switch to the all-weather surface and should go well. SOUTH KENSINGTON is improving with each start and should be competitive, while ELEGANT APPEAL easily beat the former at Newcastle last month, and she should have plenty more to come.

Leg 3 Selections: Sunny Street, Leveret
SUNNY STREET caught the eye when he was fourth of 11 on his debut, and that form has already begun to work out well, with the fifth, Royal Power, winning next time. James Tate’s charge has excellent credentials with a nice draw, and Rossa Ryan is booked to ride. LEVERET has hit the frame in both her starts and should be suited to the step up in distance, so she’s included.

Leg 4 Selections: Rosa Applause
Simon and Ed Crisford’s stable are in great form, and ROSA APPLAUSE shaped with bundles of promise when only beaten a length into third on debut at Newcastle, faring the best of those held-up. The second, Lou Lou’s Gift, won on her next start to advertise the form lines. Granted normal improvement, she is a confident choice to come out on top. Jack Mitchell has his only ride on the card.

Leg 5 Selections: Mrs Morrell
MRS MORRELL was only a place behind Havana Blue when the pair finished fourth and fifth at Newcastle, but the former did the best of those from an unfavourable hold-up position in a race that favoured being up with the pace and is open to a lot more improvement. Drawn well in stall 2, John and Thady Gosden’s filly can have a major say in the outcome and potentially reverse the latest form with Archie Watson’s charge.

Leg 6 Selections: Chillingham, Prydwen
CHILLINGHAM wasn’t suited to the way the race was run at Newcastle last time and is worth another chance based on his previous form, which would entitle him to be competitive. He is 1Ib lower than when fourth at Royal Ascot behind Vauban and is shortlisted. PRYDWEN has placed three times off higher marks since winning here in March and is another to consider.
