Architect Tips shares Tote Placepot tips for Mondays action at Kempton and yesterday's Placepot results from Exeter.
12:20 Kempton
Leg 1 Selections: Captain Marvellous
The opener presents a good opportunity for CAPTAIN MARVELLOUS to confirm the initial promise he showed when second on his hurdles debut over C&D and go one place better. The form has been advertised with the third and fourth winning since and Jane Williams’ youngster should be difficult to beat.

Leg 2 Selections: Secret Squirrel
The Hughie Morrison-trained SECRET SQUIRREL won both his bumper starts and won with more in hand than the winning margin indicated at Fontwell in the latest of those wins. He could advance his form now switched to hurdles given his pedigree with David Bass maintained to ride. I think Floating Line is his biggest danger but the former should be hard to beat on hurdles debut
13:25 Kempton
Leg 3 Selections: First Street, Harbour Lake
FIRST STREET was no doubt the best of these over hurdles, and arrives on the back of an encouraging reappearance third at Kempton, which reads very good form. If he runs to his best, he should be able to make a successful chase debut, though HARBOUR LAKE ran some big races in defeat last season over hurdles in hot races and should keep the former honest.
14:00 Kempton
Leg 4 Selections: Destroytheevidence, Della Casa Lunga
DESTROYTHEEVIDENCE is an improving five-year-old, who has now won two of his last three starts, and while more is needed from a mark of 122 on handicap debut, Kim Bailey’s charge should make a bold bid. DELLA CASA LUNGA never figured in a Grade 2 on stable debut but if she can repeat her second to Sandor Clegane, she would have every chance.

Leg 5 Selections: Kateira, Martha Brae
KATEIRA wasn’t at her best on her reappearance when only third but if she runs to her best, and can prove her stamina over this distance, she will be tough to stop. Her second in a Grade 1 in her final start last season is the best form on offer. Her stablemate MARTHA BRAE should take a step forward from her respectable return sixth at Newbury and should give a good account of herself

Leg 6 Selections: Our Jet, Before Midnight
OUR JET was beaten a long way into third on his return, but should prove a stronger proposition this time and the application of cheekpieces, coupled with a 2Ib lower mark will help. BEFORE MIDNIGHT ran poorly at Cheltenham last month but he is better than that and is 12Ib below his last winning mark, so he could bounce back.
