This definitely looks the case of there being value in a favourite. INCH HOUSE was well backed ahead of his chase debut at Chepstow but made too many errors including a big one 4 out which cost him any chance. That form has subsequently played out well with Chianti Classico following up at Ascot. He quickly put that experience to good use though looking a lot sharper when jumping well and winning easily at this track last month. I loved the way he asserted and he is clearly a horse with untapped potential over fences. If he improves again which he should then I fancy him to defy the rise in weight. The majority of the field have something to prove so hard to find an exact danger but it could possibly be Karl Philippe who can go well fresh.
