I know connections of MISTRESS LIGHT probably would have expected her to have opened her account already but she is doing little wrong in defeat and could be ready to strike now. She has only had two starts in handicaps and raced only once over a mile and a half so is very much unexposed. She only went down a length at Wolverhampton last time and just couldn’t get to the winner Savvy Brilliance who made all the running. They came 2 lengths clear from a well strung out field so I think she is ahead of her mark of just 63. Shaheen Saqaar is also unexposed after just a handful of starts and left something to work on at Chelmsford so could be the danger.

I have this between the top pair in the betting and hopefully SORRENTO SKY improves enough to open his account. This colt only missed half a length on debut over 7f at this track last month and if handing the drop back to the minimum could be hard to beat. The form has been franked already with the fourth Bergamasco winning nicely up to a mile here last month. Branding looks the obvious danger as he left his debut run behind to finish third to Edwardian at Naas on final start back in the summer. If improving he should go well but might find the selection finishing the stronger and lacks a run. Of the rest Mint Man is also going the right way and could run a nice race as well.
