GYTO Friday Notebook Double

I know things haven’t gone to plan for BALLYBREEZE the last twice but he still retains a lot of potential over fences and hopefully he can get back on track here. He fell 3 out at Market Rasen on final start last season when still moving strongly and then attracted good support at Cheltenham but unseated over the very first flight. A mark of 120 should be well within his reach and he looks the one to beat. Kotmask bumped into Arclight on chase debut at Kempton and then improved to bolt up at Plumpton having been subject to a gamble. He has more to come in this sphere and is the danger but at a bigger price I wouldn’t be surprised to see Greenrock Abbey run well too.

Camelot colt Moab is an interesting debutant but if he needs the run then APERCU should have a great chance to open her account. This Elzaam filly ran a promising race when fourth on debut and then improved to go down less than a length over C&D last time. She clocked a decent speed figure in defeat and I get the impression she won’t be a maiden for long. Moab could definitely be a threat as he looks the part on paper and Siyouni colt Firebrand is another one to be fearful of as he showed encouragement on both starts in France and likely has more to come. Dawn Rider would need to leave her debut behind but she is by Galileo and is another one not to rule out.
