Architect Tips shares Tote Placepot tips for Saturday's action at Sandown and yesterday's Placepot results from Sandown.
11:35 Sandown
Leg 1 Selections: Booster Bob, Choose A Copper, Helnwein
BOOSTER BOB is unbeaten in two starts over hurdles and is three-from-four in total under rules.
He proved he can handle heavy ground when winning by 18 lengths at Uttoxeter last time and could be difficult to beat with Nicky Henderson’s charge pulled out.
CHOOSE A COPPER did create a good impression on his hurdles debut in October at Hexham and could get a soft lead, so he’s included.
Alan King’s HELNWEIN also made a successful hurdles debut when scoring on deep ground and cannot be ruled out either.

Leg 2 Selections: Fortunefavorsdbold, Whisky Express
Trainer Christian Williams has just one runner on the card: FORTUNEFAVORSDBOLD, who succeeded over three miles on similar ground in March at Clonmel when formerly trained by Paul Nolan.
In that win, she beat a horse rated in the high 120s, and while she’s not been competitive in two starts for this stable, this race should reveal more.
WHISKY EXPRESS has a big absence to overcome, but she’s another who will handle conditions and could be ready to roll.
12:40 Sandown
Leg 3 Selections: Dolphin Square, Brinkley
DOLPHIN SQUARE has not won since taking this race last year, but he’s 8Ibs lower this time, and he has winning form on heavy ground. He is equipped with first-time cheekpieces and should be thereabouts.
BRINKLEY disappointed in his final two starts last term but returned to form with a solid second at Uttoxeter two weeks ago and has a liking for testing surfaces. The eight-year-old is 11Ib below his last winning mark too.
13:15 Sandown
Leg 4 Selections: Love Envoi, You Wear It Well
LOVE ENVOI has a good record when fresh; she’s unbeaten in three starts at this course and should fare a lot better than when she was last seen.
YOU WEAR IT WELL has won four of her five starts over hurdles, won at the Cheltenham Festival, and made a successful return at Wetherby last month.
This requires further improvement, but she’s progressive and will not go down without a fight. Great chance.

Leg 5 Selections: Colonel Harry, Iceo
COLONEL HARRY will bounce in these conditions and looked professional in winning his chase debut at Chepstow. I know the favourite was disappointing, but he did it well and is a winner over hurdles here on similar ground.
He was fourth in a Grade 1 over hurdles over C&D and looks every inch like a potential winner of this race, so he’s my main pick. ICEO is better than he showed on the last day, and last season’s Imperial Cup winner should bounce back under suitable conditions.
14:25 Sandown
Leg 6 Selections: Red Rookie
RED ROOKIE could be a spot of value at fair odds. He is unbeaten in three starts on heavy ground and wasn’t discredited on his return over fences in a Listed race when last spotted.
He is back over hurdles from a much lower mark and has C&D-winning form in his locker. I think the eight-year-old has an excellent chance with that run under his belt.
