That win from BLUE HAWAII certainly wasn’t coming out of turn at this track last time. He had caught the eye in defeat at Newcastle prior to that and turned out quickly under a penalty I think he has found the right race to follow up in. He finished strongly having been denied a run and as long as the drop back to a mile and a half doesn’t inconvenience he is the most likely winner.

He is being well backed in the betting and deservedly so given the opposition. Footsy didn’t run badly when fifth at Chelmsford and back down in trip could be the one to give her most to think about. Corsican Caper is quite a big price but somehow is still a maiden which is a bit worrying.

With his sole win coming at this track RICKY BOBBY must be of serious interest here. He remains lightly raced for his age and only missed a neck at Thurles last time. He lacked fluency over the final flight too so you have to think if he had jumped that smoother he would have won. The form has been franked too as the winner has run well since. He is only 3lb higher and remains well treated on old form so no surprise to see him popular in the betting at the time of writing.

The Banger Doyle has been running well enough recently to think he would be a danger in this. Skinnider is another one that catches the eye if she is fit enough to do herself justice.
