Architect Tips shares Tote Placepot tips for Monday's action at Chelmsford and yesterday's Placepot results from Wolverhampton.
17:00 Chelmsford
Leg 1 Selections: Elusive Tiger, Native Melody
With a lot of these arriving in the race in poor form, a chance is taken on ELUSIVE TIGER, who didn’t get the smoothest of runs en route to taking third at Wolverhampton and must be considered. NATIVE MELODY is back to the same mark as when she scored at Lingfield back in August. She should be thereabouts.

Leg 2 Selections: Danehill Star, Cowboy Stuff
DANEHILL STAR derived for the switch to positive tactics when second at Wolverhampton last time out on handicap debut. Rossa Ryan has an excellent record on the all-weather, and he should get a fine tune out of this improving two-year-old. COWBOY STUFF ran a decent race to finish fourth in this grade for the first time over C&D last month and should get involved.
18:00 Chelmsford
Leg 3 Selections: Mrs Morrell
John and Thady Gosden appear to have found MRS MORRELL a fine opportunity to open her account at the third time of asking here. She caught the eye when she finished fifth on her debut at Newcastle and improved from that effort to finish runner-up at Wolverhampton. Big Virtue is the notable newcomer, but hopefully the former can put her experience to good use and at least fill the frame.
18:30 Chelmsford
Leg 4 Selections: Persian Blue, It’s Showtime
PERSIAN BLUE should be hard to beat. She took a major step forward from her debut sixth to finish runner-up at Nottingham. The winner has won again since, so the form has substance, and she should go well. IT’S SHOWTIME ran really well in a better race than this last time when she was fourth at Lingfield, and she could emerge as the biggest danger to the odds-on favourite.
19:00 Chelmsford
Leg 5 Selections: Q Twenty Boy, Smasher
There’s a couple of consistent runners to concentrate on here. The first one is Q TWENTY BOY, who only found one too good here last time and should be able to maintain his good run of form with another solid display here. SMASHER is the other one to add to the ticket, who shaped well when third at Wolverhampton last month and has solid place claims from the same mark.
19:30 Chelmsford
Leg 6 Selections: Urban Sprawl
The Charlie Johnston-trained URBAN SPRAWL could dictate matters here. This three-year-old has made the frame in all of his six starts on the all-weather, with five of those coming at a much higher level. He made a bold bid from the front last time when caught close to home, and under similar tactics, he might be able to go one better in this easier race.
