For his age LEBOWSKI remains lightly raced and if he builds on that reappearance fifth at Chepstow in deep ground then he should go close here. He has been dropped 1lb and just raced too fresh and keen to do himself justice. He can jump slicker too so with that under his belt I’m expecting a much improved display. The way he won at Wetherby off this mark last year was impressive so we know he is capable. War Soldier won at this track last year and while he was down the field at Ayr that did come in a decent race and he will find this easier so he looks the biggest danger if fit enough on return.

This looks a great chance for BOB BOB RICHARD to open his account. He bumped into some useful types in bumpers in the shape of Earth Cry, Southoftheborder and Rock House and made a pleasing hurdles debut chasing home My Chiquita at Wetherby back in October. Given plenty of time since he is expected to have improved plenty and this looks a good opening for him to go one better. He is still armed with a fair bit of potential and connections will be disappointed if he can’t get his head in front here. Globe Player is proving a little frustrating but might still be the one to chase him home.
