Architect Tips shares Tote Placepot tips for Wednesday's action at Kempton and yesterday's Placepot results from Southwell.

Leg 1 Selections: Perfect Spring, Run Joy Run
PERFECT SPRING improved markedly from recent efforts to finish second here last time, where she made late progress. If she can repeat that performance over this longer trip, she should go well.
RUN JOY RUN wasn’t far behind the former last time when fifth and could take another step forward here. Either way, I am optimistic one of these two will feature heavily at the finish.

Leg 2 Selections: Rascal Recknell
RASCAL RECKNELL put in a good shift from the front when third on his debut at Sandown. He led for a long time and was only headed inside the final 110 yards. Granted normal improvement, he should be difficult to keep out of the frame.

Leg 3 Selections: Born A Rebel, Flying Finn
This is a wide-open race, but BORN A REBEL has to be featured, even if the form she’s shown to date is only modest. She could fill the frame, even with the likelihood that she will find one or two too good.
FLYING FINN is a newcomer that has piqued my interest. She is nicely bred, and Oisin Murphy is an interesting jockey booking too. His presence in the saddle must mean a big run is expected.

Leg 4 Selections: Fouroneohfever, Quickly
FOURONEOHFEVER shaped with bundles of promise in placing in both starts to date, and he should be suited to the step up in trip. He has possibilities, at the very least, with William Buick in the saddle.
QUICKLY is an interesting newcomer for a stable that has three representatives in the contest. He is drawn nicely in stall 3, and any early market support would certainly increase his chances.

Leg 5 Selections: Sandy Paradise, Perfect Thunder
SANDY PARADISE has a good record at this venue, which reads 14132212, and only found one too good here last time. He has an absence to overcome but should remain competitive, given how much improvement he’s made over the last twelve months.
PERFECT THUNDER was rated as high as 88 when trained in Ireland last year, and although she’s yet to replicate her best form for this stable, she should be capable of making an impact at this level.

Leg 6 Selections: Goldspur, Rebel’s Romance, Salt Bay
Charlie Appleby could hold the key to the feature race on the card. It’s been 600 days since GOLDSPUR was last in action, but he boasts some of the strongest form in the field.
After winning his first two starts, he finished third in the Group 1 Prix Criterium de Saint-Cloud prior to filling the same spot behind Westover when sent off as the favourite in a Group 3 race. If he’s ready to roll, he is a dangerous horse to dismiss.
REBEL’S ROMANCE is seemingly stable number one based on jockey bookings, given that he’s the choice of William Buick. He is the clear highest-rated runner in the field, and the Breeders Cup Turf hero is the one they all have to beat.
Meanwhile, the form of SALT BAY’s second to Not So Sleepy, when last seen, was recently advertised when the winner landed the Fighting Fifth Hurdle last weekend. He could be suited to the switch to all-weather and cannot be ruled out.
