This looks quite open on paper but I do like the chances of COMPOSITE who ran well to finish third over C&D just 9 days ago. This son of Cracksman was given a patient ride that day but once he got rolling in the closing stages he clocked some good closing sectionals so with further improvement to come should go close. Caustic is an interesting debutant on the Flat having run in a couple of bumpers at Exeter and Doncaster. He is by Galileo so if strong in the betting could be the danger. Lord Melbourne had looked to be improving before running no race over track and trip last time when well backed so has too much to prove off the back of that. Polemon is by Frankel and only missed a neck when last seen but lacks a run which would be a worry.
