Eceparti will be popular chasing a hat-trick with Venetia Williams going so well but I do think there is value in opposing and INVICTUS ALLEN certainly catches the eye. He is down the bottom of the weights for Christian Williams and he left his chase debut behind at Wincanton to finish second at Ffos Las last month. He stayed on well suggesting this step up in trip will prove ideal. The winner Percy Veering won next time out at Exeter so it is decent form. He remains unexposed and I’m confident he will go close. Bretney was denied just a short head at Kelso last month so if repeating that should be competitive for a long way again. Le Tueur didn’t run badly in a race that has worked out last time so is also noted.
