Swearer won a point-to-point in 2021 and ran well enough in the same sphere when third at Great Trethew after close to a year off, and he could be the one to serve it up to BENNETTSBRIDGE here. Purchased at the May sales by trainer Olly Murphy, his Irish point-to-point form looks just about the best on offer and, if he takes to hurdles, he could get off the mark at the first attempt. Little Talks and September Power are others to consider.
Prediction : 1st Bennettsbridge 2nd Swearer 3rd Little Talks

Lincoln Lyn is the only course and distance winner in the field having scored here in January off 1lb higher and, if she improves for her Ffos Las third, she should be thereabouts. River Tyne continued to frustrate in the spring with five second places in a row, but she returns after wind surgery sporting a tongue-tie and might be worth another chance. However, BRANDISOVA might be the one. Both her wins have been here, one over hurdles and one over fences, and she's reunited with Bryony Frost who clearly brings out the best in her.
Prediction : 1st Brandisova 2nd Lincoln Lyn 3rd River Tyne

LADY GWEN missed out on her hat-trick when only third at Market Rasen earlier in the month, but she was beaten less than three lengths in a better race and may get back to winning ways dropped in class. Crem Fresh is an obvious danger having started the season with a win here over further and a nose second at Leicester, but she does have an added 4lb from the handicapper. Lady Berlais and Eliza Dolittle are noted too.
Prediction : 1st Lady Gwen 2nd Crem Fresh 3rd Lady Berlais

Stamina is the name of the game here and Lord Sparky clearly fits the bill courtesy of his comfortable C&D win in January off just 3lb lower. He can go well, but a chance is taken on the younger KADEX, a winner at Plumpton in October and only beaten a neck since over three miles here. With just three races over fences under his belt, there may be a lot more to come from the five-year-old. Eceparti is another to consider.
Prediction : 1st Kadex 2nd Lord Sparky 3rd Eceparti

A change of scenery might aid the cause of For Pleasure after a string of below-par efforts and he may well prove dangerous on the front end. Western Soldier was too keen to do himself justice on handicap debut at Plumpton and is likely to benefit from a flatter track, but the vote goes to SERGEANT WILSON. The five-year-old was no match for the well-handicapped Brentford Hope at Newbury last month, but it wouldn't be a surprise to see him go one better.
Prediction : 1st Sergeant Wilson 2nd For Pleasure 3rd Western Soldier

GEORGES SAINT stepped forward from his chase debut to get off the mark at Ffos Las last month and a 5lb rise is unlikely to stop Venetia Williams' gelding from backing that performance up. William Cody has finished second on both outings this season and is likely to be in the mix, while others for the shortlist include Scene One and Jony Max.
Prediction : 1st Georges Saint 2nd William Cody 3rd Scene One

COPSHILL LAD has produced two solid efforts this autumn and a step up in trip could help to make the difference as he bids to gain a first success over timber. The Wise Traveller appeared to be much happier on his latest start at Huntingdon when making every yard of the running and similar tactics can see him go close. Edison Kent, who arrives following wind surgery, and William Ewart complete the shortlist.
Prediction : 1st Copshill Lad 2nd The Wise Traveller 3rd Edison Kent
