Immortal keeps getting overbet and I can’t say I was impressed with his performance at this track last month. At a short enough price he is best watched so JAGWAR could represent decent value against. He showed clear promise when second in France and then snapped up by connections made a promising start going down just a head to a good yardstick at Aintree. With that initial experience under his belt and switching to handicaps now I think he could surprise a few here. The drop back to 2 miles also looks a big plus and I think he’ll be well backed come post time. Bad is also respected as he has run well the last twice and has talented claimer Beau Morgan taking 5lb off his back so that will help.
