I have been with LITTLE MISS DANTE the last twice and I’m not about to abandon her now. She has looked thoroughly progressive in recent starts building on that Southwell bumper victory to win both starts over hurdles. I loved the way she asserted at Uttoxeter last month and with more to come again as she moves up in trip I think she can complete the four-timer. Olly Murphy is in red-hot form too so this mare has plenty going for her. Alfie’s Princess has also won her first two starts over hurdles and showed a good attitude at Exeter last month so looks the danger. El Elefante was beat last time but still retains potential and has a squeak too.

Back from a 907 day absence MINT GOLD impressed winning easily at Musselburgh last month. The way he jumped the last suggested he had a fair bit more up his sleeve if needed and given the runner-up has gone close since the form certainly has substance. He is only 3lb higher and with the step back up to 2 and a half miles likely to suit he should be able to follow up. Nocte Volatus is a decent yardstick and having undergone wind surgery since last seen if back in form he will be a threat. Everyday Champagne won well at Ayr last month but 5lb higher this looks a better race so he might be left vulnerable and will likely need more.
