Imperial Measure was no match for an easy winner at Taunton last time but remains capable of a decent showing.

CONTRE ORDRE improved for the drop in trip when scoring over C&D on his most recent outing and the five-year-old appears likely to have more to offer, despite a 4lb rise from the handicapper. Zuckerberg won here over further on the same card as the selection and is likely to enter the reckoning. Moore Clouds and Beat The Edge are others worth considering.

Mothill has to be respected having been successful when last seen over hurdles at Uttoxeter in June, but marginal preference is for HEARTBREAK KID. Donald McCain's gelding was only narrowly denied over fences here last time and that effort suggests that he could be hard to stop off a mark of 116 now switched to timber. Others to note are Harper Valley and Moonlight Glory.

TOM CREEN is in cracking form at present and he has been victorious on each of his last two starts at this track, but he suffered defeat when beaten into second at Southwell last month. The eight-year-old is only 5lb higher than his success over C&D on his penultimate start and he can quickly return to winning ways. Heritier hit the crossbar over hurdles at Bangor earlier in the month and is noted along with Duo D'Enfer.

BACKDOORFLUSH (second) had Vanilla Dancer (third) behind by 14 lengths when making her debut under Rules over C&D and she renews that rivalry on 7lb better terms. The daughter of Mount Nelson was put in her place in Listed company last time, but this looks like a much more suitable assignment. As for the latter, she was victorious over track and trip last time, beating Chantilly Dragon (third), and has to carry a penalty. Any market support for Blue Las would also be of interest.
