I know I’m taking a bit of a chance here as ENCANTO BRUNO completely blew out at Fairyhouse last time. He jumped poorly though as just didn’t look to be on a going day. He was a promising winner at Cheltenham before that and I think if you can forgive him that blip last time he could be a major player here. He needs to prove himself in this testing ground but at around 9/1 at the time of writing he looks worth chancing.

He has only had 4 starts over hurdles and this is his handicap debut so a mark of 140 could prove lenient. Nusret looks the danger to me as he was a good second at Fairyhouse and should also have more to come now handicapping. Of the rest Conyers Hill has obvious claims but he is favourite and his price represents little value.
