The drop back to 2 and a half miles here should see LIMERICK LACE back in the winners enclosure. She impressed winning readily at Clonmel on reappearance and then bumped into Coko Beach at Navan last month up to 3 miles for the first time in the Troytown. She is clearly a very useful operator and this looks a good opportunity. Zambella impressed winning by a wide margin at Aintree on return and that form has already been franked so she is the obvious danger. Fantastic Lady is capable too and she will strip fitter from Aintree so it should be a good race.

This looks a great chance for ICEBERG THEORY to make the breakthrough. This son of Flemensfirth was a good third on hurdles debut at Cork and then improved again to finish runner-up at Wexford last time. He won’t nee to find much more improvement to get off the mark and is the most likely winner of this. Thegraveyardbookie has shown promise in bumpers and if taking to hurdles at the first time of asking could emerge as the biggest threat. Of the rest Metalor ran on well behind Better Days Ahead at Fairyhouse and is another one to consider but needs to improve again.
