The improving IRIS DES ISSARDS should relish going up in trip again here and given he already sets the standard if he does step forward again I make him the one to beat. He needed the experience on debut over hurdles at Exeter back in November but stepped forward from that to go down just a couple of lengths last time. I liked the way he ran on and he was closing on the winner at the line. The field was well strung out and the third Don’t Tell Su is held in good regard so the form should work out in time. This is winnable and he is decent value to come away with the prize. Pentire Head didn’t run badly when second at Wincanton but was beaten 11 lengths. He likely has more to offer and is another one I expect to get competitive especially back up in trip.
