CRACKING DESTINY took care of Fidelio Vallis by just under five lengths over 2m here in November and although 6lb worse off, that is unlikely to be enough to prevent the veteran from going in again. Fidelio Vallis could get closer, especially if allowed an uncontested lead, while Half Shot did it nicely over an extended 2m7f here and it would be no surprise to see him get into contention off a 7lb higher mark.

Republican is an interesting contender on his first start for the Harry Derham stable and has proven to be more than capable in this sort of grade. Sanosuke makes some appeal in a first-time visor.
