Steve Ryder is back with three racing tip's for today's racing action.
14:00 Fakenham
This looks a weak 0-95 mares’ novices’ handicap hurdle but preference goes to LADY SALVADOR (best priced at 2/1) put in a huge career best on her handicap debut last time. The lightly raced Jim & Suzi Best trained eight-year-old finished well beaten on her first three career starts in maiden/novice hurdles when sent off 150/1, 100/1 and 50/1 last season but ran well to finish 2nd on her handicap debut off an opening mark of 72.
Lady Salvador finished 2nd by 1 ¾ lengths at Fontwell on heavy ground last time and she is entitled to improve from that effort as it was her reappearance run following 239 days off the track. The handicapper has raised her 3lbs but she should appreciate this step up in trip to just shy of 3 miles and is expected to prove hard to beat.

Recent course and distance winner MY GIFT TO YOU (best priced at 6/4) faces four rivals who are 4-50 over obstacles in their careers so he should prove hard to beat with form figures of 11241 for James Owen. The six-year-old won on his stable debut over hurdles at Southwell when fitted with a first time tongue tie before following up on his chasing debut at Worcester in August off a mark of 74.
My Gift To You ran well on his next three starts over hurdles before making it 2/2 over fences with a 4 ½ length victory over this course and distance in November off a mark of 86. He returns here following a 42 day break off a mark of 91 and he should prove hard to beat with Lilly Pinchin retaining the ride.
17:00 Wolverhampton
Despite having a record of 0-11 since joining Ed de Giles from France, REVE DE MAGRITTE (best priced at 9/4) should hold strong claims of recording her second career success. The five-year-old outran odds of 20/1 to finish 2nd by a neck over 7f here last time on Boxing Day off a mark of 50 despite hanging left under pressure when ridden by 7lb claimer Jack Enright.
Daniel Muscutt now takes over on board and Reve De Magritte gets to run here off the same mark of 50. This step up in trip to 1m½f should suit her and she should run well from Stall 6.
