Another race where the majority of the field are out of form so INTRICATE PILLAR who is down the bottom of the weights catches the eye. She is still lightly raced and her run over C&D 3 starts back sticks in the memory. She ran on well and clocked some good closing sectionals and a repeat of that sort of form would see her go close in this.

I know she has been beaten twice since but she ran below par next time out in a race that suited closers and then wasn’t beaten far in a race with a lot of pace on at Kempton last month. The handicapper has given her a helping hand dropping her a further 2lb and I’m convinced she’ll strike soon. Covert Mission is always a danger if bringing his best and Hul Ah Bah Loo who has form that ties in with the selection is also respected.
