Fourofakind won a Haydock maiden hurdle on soft ground last season by twelve lengths before finishing midfield in two handicap hurdles. His two disappointing runs this season have come without the assistance of his usual tongue tie-cheekpieces combination and as a result he has dropped 6lbs in the ratings down to a mark of 102. The headgear goes back on in this race and a much improved effort is expected.

Neither Huelgoet or Jacamar are proven on heavy ground so that should allow GEORGES SAINT (best priced at 9/4) to complete a hat-trick of wins. The Venetia Williams trained eight-year-old has shown his best form on testing ground with a victory at Ffos Las on soft ground and a twelve length victory at Fakenham last time on heavy ground.
The handicapper has raised Georges Saint 7lbs for that easy victory which is fair and he is expected to prove extremely hard to beat with conditions to suit.

TOP SECRET (best priced at 10/3) extended his impressive record at Kempton with a comfortable victory over this course and distance last time and he should prove hard to beat off a 6lb higher mark. The William Muir & Chris Grassick trained seven-year-old has form figures at Kempton of 62111 with his only disappointing effort coming over an inadequate 6f.
Top Secret won easily on his return from 102 days off the track to win by 2 ¼ lengths over this course and distance last time and he should prove hard to beat if in the same form only 17 days later.
