The Jeu St Eloi filly was a Listed winner over hurdles in France before joining Henry de Bromhead and was far from disgraced in a strong Grade 3 contest on her Irish debut when fourth to Nurburgring at Fairyhouse last month. This looks like an easier opportunity now. The two Willie Mullins-trained fillies in the race were also winners over hurdles in their native France. Paul Townend sides with Miss Manzor, who finished mid-division in Grade 2 company on her first start for Closutton at Leopardstown. There are some nice types coming off the Flat. Trustyoursinstinct wasn't disgraced when last seen in Group 3 company on the level at Leopardstown and it will be interesting to see how he takes to jumps.

JOYA DEL MAR ran a big race on her jumping debut at Down Royal and can strike now in against her own sex. The Ol' Man River mare finished second behind Mossy Fen Park in a decent heat at 'the Maze' on St Stephen's Day and a similar effort could be enough to get her head in front. Magic Dawn looked set to chase home a smart sort in Only By Night, before unseating at the last, at Naas last time and she would appear to be the main danger. Saddle Her Up is another to consider.

MINT BOY was no match for cosy winner Easy Fella at Thurles last time, but it was still a solid effort against what was probably a well-handicapped rival. The Mount Nelson gelding stuck on well then over a furlong shorter and looks on a decent enough mark in his first proper handicap. Where's Frankie has been running well over fences and despite being a few pounds higher in this sphere, he could be a danger. Prince Palace had a couple of good runner-up efforts in maiden hurdles and looks like another to note on his handicap debut.

LETSBECLEARABOUTIT has to be of interest on his handicap chase debut. Gavin Cromwell's charge takes a drop in trip, but he was effective at this sort of distance in bumpers. He is already a Grade 3 winner over fences in Cork and although a beaten favourite in third in the Grade 1 Drinmore at this track, that form got a major boost when the runner-up came out and won a Grade 1 at Leopardstown over Christmas. Fighting Fit is climbing the weights, but holding his form well. The ability to play him late could be an asset in this contest as several of these can race prominently. Uncle Phil is likely to race off the front and certainly has the ability to be heavily involved. It was only in the closing stages of a Grade 2 that he got caught and dropped to third at Punchestown. Chavez is the dark horse and is highly likely to improve from a fifth place at Leopardstown over Christmas, while class-dropper Saint Roi could show more spark here.

HUNTERS YARN looked like he was going to cruise home on chasing debut over a similar trip at this track, but fell at the last. No doubt connections will have done plenty of schooling with him. He was placed in a Grade 2 over flights and was better in that discipline that Firm Footings, who ran as well as could be expected in second at Leopardstown behind the ante-post favourite for the Arkle. There should be races to be won in this sphere with Gordon Elliott's representative, who just lost out by a head on his initial run over fences at Punchestown. He delivered twice over hurdles and deep ground holds no fears for him. Path D'oroux has more experience over fences than the aforementioned pair. He could have landed a good handicap in Leopardstown but for being hampered and departing at the final fence. His rating of 136 entitles him to plenty of respect.

NEVERADULLMOMENT could appreciate going up in trip. On his last start in Thurles, he kept on well in third over an extended 2m2f and the form got a boost when the horse five lengths behind him in fourth came out and won in Limerick. There are no trip issues with Gold Bullion, who won his maiden hurdle over an extended 3m in Cork. He has had two runs over fences since then and was placed both times. He is a significant threat, despite shouldering top weight. Arthur Moore has always thought a fair bit of Hands Of Gold, who has landed two races over flights. He faced stiff tasks in his first couple of chases, but should have a part to play here. Where It All Began could enjoy this small field, while French import Intense Raffles would be interesting if strong in the market ahead of his Irish debut. He has won twice over hurdles and once on the Flat in his native country.

ROMEO COOLIO is one to take very seriously on racecourse debut after making 420,000gns at the sales. This Kayf Tara gelding has moved to Gordon Elliott after making all for a more-than-comfortable victory in a Belclare point-to-point in March for Donnchadh Doyle. Willie Mullins takes the wraps off Yoradreamer, a brother to a bumper winner who also won nine times on the Flat in Britain. Yoradreamer will certainly know his job. Stuart Crawford has his string in good order and Step Out is one to note. He attracted support before his debut in a very valuable bumper at Punchestown in April, but could make no impression. Improvement is more than likely. The form of Jackmoon's third in Navan looks strong, while Charlie Buckett scoped badly after being pulled up in Thurles. The fact that he was odds-on favourite for that debut run indicates that there is plenty more to come.
